Litter Box Step

A litter box step gives senior, small, or less agile cats a shorter climb to a high entrance. Compare White and Gray height-adjustable stairs that sit in front of an existing box.

When a litter box step helps

If your cat hesitates at the rim, measure the entrance height and floor space first. The Bopace four-layer step is 16.54 x 12.4 x 5.71 inches assembled and uses anti-skid feet. Check that the top landing meets the box entrance cleanly.

Guide for senior cats

Read the Journal guide on cat stairs for senior pets to decide whether a step is enough or you also need a lower-entry box.
